Choose your Kathmandu hotel around the places you want to visit, your arrival plans and the pace of your trip. Our heritage tours bring together the city's stupas, temples and palace squares, while longer journeys use Kathmandu as the start and finish of a Nepal itinerary.

Choose a base for your itinerary
Start by comparing the actual hotel address with your sightseeing plan. Our Kathmandu collection includes properties in Thamel, Durbar Marg, Lazimpat, Tahachal and other parts of the valley. A familiar destination label can cover very different locations, so check the map before choosing. If you have an early airport departure or a fixed temple visit, ask your trip manager to plan that transfer alongside the hotel.
Plan a heritage day
Our Kathmandu sightseeing itineraries include Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Patan and Bhaktapur appear in our wider valley tours. Rather than fit every site into arrival day, choose the places that matter most to your group and leave time for the journey between them. Our individual heritage pages explain the places in more detail.
Connect your Kathmandu stay with a longer tour
The Kathmandu–Pokhara itinerary combines city sightseeing with Phewa Lake and Sarangkot. The Golden Triangle route adds Chitwan, while the Spiritual & Scenic Nepal tour includes Nagarkot. Use the itinerary to decide the order of overnight stops, then compare room types at each destination. A hotel enquiry does not automatically include all the transport, sightseeing or meals described in a tour package.
Before you choose a room
Compare the stated bed setup, room size and maximum occupancy, especially for a family or a group sharing rooms. Tell us the children's ages and any accessibility requirements. Ask for the exact breakfast plan, extra-bed arrangement, cancellation terms and airport-transfer charge in the quote. Choose a room for its confirmed facilities; views and early check-in should be requested separately if they are essential to your stay.
